RILA is an innovative measuring system that can be mounted on a regular passenger train.
CE Masters developed the carbon composite housing, the GPS antenna and the metal adapter with which the system is mounted to the train. Various subassemblies have been analyzed with FEM for optimization of stiffness and contact pressure. By Top-Down-Design with “poka yoke’ elements the overall design has been optimized in terms of production tolerances and lead time.
