Maybe you can do something beforehand, so the problem cannot occur in the future or the problem would be instantly solved when it occurs in the future:

• Failsafe mechanism
• Measure a part dimension before assembling the part
• Measure paramaters of a system and adapt to changing circumstances
• Machine multiple parts in one fixture for optimal tolerances or alignment
